Georgia High School Softball - Fitzgerald bounces Turner County

In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Fitzgerald Purple Hurricane softball team scored a nice 30-0 victory over the Turner County Titans.
The Purple Hurricane (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Clinch County (Homerville, GA). The Panthers go into the non-league match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Clinch County gained a win over Thomasville (Thomasville, GA), 7-5, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Titans battle the Irwin County Indians (Ocilla, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 2 match, on Tuesday, August 13. Turner County will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
