With the triumph, Mayfield moves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Graves County (Mayfield, KY) to clash with the Eagles in a District 2 test on Tuesday, August 12. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Colonels now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Franklin-Simpson for a non-league test on Monday, August 11.
