Georgia High School Softball - East Coweta bounces Central

In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting East Coweta Indians softball team scored a nice 9-0 win over the Central Lions.
The Indians (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Newnan (Newnan, GA). The Cougars come into the non-league match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Newnan was routed by Whitewater (Fayetteville, GA), 10-9, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Lions battle the Heard County Braves (Franklin, GA) in a non-league match, on Monday, August 11. Central will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Braves come into the match with a 2-1 record after their 5-0 non-league win over Newnan (Newnan, GA).
