The Starr's Mill Panthers softball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting McIntosh Chiefs to 7 in the Panthers non-league win on Thursday.

The Panthers now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Troup County for a non-league battle on Friday, August 8.

With the loss, McIntosh moves to 0-1 on the season. The Chiefs travel to Dutchtown (Hampton, GA) to confront the Bulldogs in a 5A Region 3 battle on Tuesday, August 12. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 1-0.
