Georgia High School Softball - New Manchester edged by South Cobb

August 7, 2025: Austell, GA 30106

The New Manchester Jaguar softball squad (Douglasville, GA), was edged 11-10 in Thursday's non-league contest with the host South Cobb Eagles (Austell, GA)

With the triumph, South Cobb improves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Eagles travel to McEachern (Powder Springs, GA) to face the Indians in a 6A Region 3 contest on Tuesday, August 12. The Indians enter the contest with a record of 1-1. McEachern won 10-6 in their recent non-league contest against Wheeler (Marietta, GA)

The Jaguar now hold a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Westlake for a non-league contest on Monday, August 11.
