Appling County Pirates (Baxley, GA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Bryan County Redskins (Pembroke, GA), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Appling County improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Pirates host Brunswick (Brunswick, GA) to encounter the Pirates in a non-league test on Thursday, August 7. The Pirates go into the test with a record of 0-0.
