With the win, West Marion advances its record to 4-1 on the season. The Trojans travel to East Marion (Columbia, MS) to face the Eagles in a non-league test on Monday, August 11. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 2-0. East Marion won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Amite County (Liberty, MS)

The Wildcats now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Marion for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 12. Columbia will face a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Amite County (Liberty, MS). The Eagles record now stands at 2-0.
