The Grenada Chargers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Eupora Eagles to 1 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Chargers now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host East Webster for a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 12. Grenada will play a Wolverines team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Choctaw County (Ackerman, MS). The Wolverines record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Eupora drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Winston Academy (Louisville, MS) to face the Patriots in a non-league test on Saturday, August 9. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 2-3. Winston Academy won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Clinton Christian Academy (Clinton, MS)
