In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Greene County Wildcats volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Richton Rebels.
The Wildcats (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Perry Central (New Augusta, MS). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Perry Central was beaten by Stone (Wiggins, MS), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Rebels meet the Wayne County War Eagles (Waynesboro, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 12. Richton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The War Eagles enter the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Quitman (Quitman, MS).
