In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Okolona Chieftains volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Houlka Wildcats.

The Chieftains (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Baldwyn (Baldwyn, MS). The Bearcats enter the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Baldwyn beat Shannon (Shannon, MS), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Jumpertown Cardinals (Booneville, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 8. Houlka will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
