Mississippi High School Volleyball - Northeast Lauderdale edged by Neshoba Central

August 7, 2025: Meridian, MS 39305

Neshoba Central Rockets (Philadelphia, MS) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Northeast Lauderdale Trojans (Meridian, MS), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Neshoba Central improves its record to 1-2 on the season. The Rockets travel to Union (Union, MS) to face the Yellowjackets in a non-league test on Friday, August 8. The Yellowjackets go into the test with a record of 2-3. Union won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Pearl (Pearl, MS)

The Trojans now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stringer for a non-league test on Saturday, August 9. Northeast Lauderdale will face a Red Devils squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over West Marion (Foxworth, MS). The Red Devils record now stands at 1-1.
