The Gore Pirates routed the host Mounds Golden Eagles softball squad by a count of 11-0 in Monday's league battle.
The Pirates (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Warner (Warner, OK). The Eagles go into the 2A battle with a 0-1 record.
The Golden Eagles now sport a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Perry for a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 9. Mounds will meet a Maroons squad coming off a 16-3 non-league win over Cleveland (Cleveland, OK). The Maroons record now stands at 1-0.
