Harlem Bulldogs (Harlem, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs (Twin City, GA), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Lakeside for a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 10. Harlem will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Greenbrier (Evans, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Emanuel County Institute falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host South Effingham (Guyton, GA) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 10. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. South Effingham won 5-0 in their recent non-league test against Harlem (Harlem, GA)
