The Bulldogs (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Taylorsville (Taylorsville, MS). The Tartars enter the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Taylorsville defeated Laurel (Laurel, MS), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Golden Tornadoes meet the Hattiesburg Tigers (Hattiesburg, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 10. Laurel will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Gautier (Gautier, MS).
