Louisiana High School Football - Northshore Vultures defeats First Baptist Christian

The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the Northshore Vultures Vultures (Covington, LA) and the visiting First Baptist Christian Eagles (Lafayette, LA), witnessed Northshore Vultures's football squad topple First Baptist Christian by a count of 42-16.

The Vultures (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Acadiana Christian (New Iberia, LA). The Lions enter the Christian Educators of Louisiana (8 Man) contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Acadiana Christian was outscored by John Paul the Great Academy (Lafayette, LA), 44-22, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Eagles confront the Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool (Lake Charles, LA) in a Christian Educators of Louisiana (8 Man) contest, on Thursday, August 15. First Baptist Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The enter the contest with a 1-0 record after their 44-0 league win over Mount Olive Christian (Athens, LA).
