The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the North Cobb Warriors (Kennesaw, GA) and the host Etowah Eagles (Woodstock, GA), observed North Cobb's softball team prevail over Etowah by a tally of 9-0.

The Warriors (5-0) will now prepare for their bout against Cherokee (Canton, GA). The Warriors go into the 6A Region 5 bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, Cherokee was routed by Walton (Marietta, GA), 9-3, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the West Forsyth Wolverines (Cumming, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, August 10. Etowah will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Wolverines go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 5-1 non-league win over East Forsyth (Gainesville, GA).
