In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Corinth Warriors volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the South Pontotoc Cougars.
The Warriors (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Alcorn Central (Glen, MS). The Bears come into the non-league challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Alcorn Central beat McNairy Central (Selmer, TN), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cougars meet the Hatley Tigers (Amory, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 13. South Pontotoc will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 2-1 league win over Hamilton (Hamilton, MS).
