In Friday's non-league test, the Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs (Twin City, GA) softball squad the host Toombs County Bulldogs (Lyons, GA), by a tally of 6-3.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Claxton Tigers (Claxton, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 3 test, on Tuesday, August 12. Emanuel County Institute will attempt to advance on its 3-0 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 1-0 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Bulloch Academy (Statesboro, GA).

The Bulldogs (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Calvary Day (Savannah, GA). The Cavaliers go into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
