Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Alpharetta Raiders (Alpharetta, GA) and the visiting Hillgrove Hawks (Powder Springs, GA), observed Alpharetta's volleyball team top Hillgrove by a count of 2-0.
The Raiders (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lambert (Suwanee, GA). The Longhorns enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Lambert was knocked off by Buford (Buford, GA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Hawks battle the Etowah Eagles (Woodstock, GA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, August 8. Hillgrove will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record.
