The Clarkdale Bulldogs volleyball squad (Meridian, MS), was edged 3-2 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Lake Hornets (Lake, MS)

The Hornets (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Clarkdale (Meridian, MS). The Bulldogs enter the Class 2A Region 5 challenge with a 2-2 record.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Sebastopol Bobcats (Sebastopol, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 11. Clarkdale will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Bobcats enter the test with a 2-5 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Puckett (Puckett, MS).
