The Piedmont Wildcats softball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Coweta Tigers to 6 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Piedmont improves its record to 5-0 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Capitol Hill (Oklahoma City, OK) to clash with the Redwolves in a 5A District 2 game on Thursday, August 11. The Redwolves come into the game with a record of 0-0.
In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Glenpool Warriors (Glenpool, OK) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, August 9. Coweta will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Warriors come into the game with a 1-0 record after their 10-1 non-league win over Oologah (Oologah, OK).
