In Friday's league challenge, the visiting Hatley Tigers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Hamilton Lions.

The Tigers (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against South Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, South Pontotoc was nudged by Corinth (Corinth, MS), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions meet the Shannon Red Raiders (Shannon, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 13. Hamilton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Nettleton (Nettleton, MS).
