The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Monroe County Falcons (Tompkinsville, KY) and the visiting Metcalfe County Hornets (Edmonton, KY), saw Monroe County's volleyball squad beat Metcalfe County by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Monroe County upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Falcons travel to Metcalfe County (Edmonton, KY) to play the Hornets in a bout on Tuesday, September 13. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 0-3.
