North Carolina High School Volleyball - Alleghany edged by North Wilkes

The North Wilkes Vikings held off the host Alleghany Trojans volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Vikings now have a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Wilkes for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 6. North Wilkes will confront a Blackhawks team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Forbush (East Bend, NC). The Blackhawks record now stands at 7-1.
The Trojans (2-4) will now prepare for their test against North Stokes (Danbury, NC). The Vikings enter the non-league test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, North Stokes was nudged by Starmount (Boonville, NC), 2-0, in a non-league test.
