The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Grant Lancers (Van Nuys, CA) and the host Arleta Mustangs (Arleta, CA), saw Grant's volleyball squad nip Arleta by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Grant upgrades its record to 1-2 on the year. The Lancers travel to Poly (Sun Valley, CA) to play the Parrots in a bout on Thursday, September 22. The Parrots go into the bout with a record of 2-3.
The Mustangs now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host San Fernando for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 8.
