In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Roanoke Catholic Celtics volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Fleming Colonels.

The Celtics (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Westover Christian Academy (Danville, VA). The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Westover Christian Academy achieved victory over Southwest Virginia Academy (Roanoke, VA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Colonels clash with the Pulaski County Cougars (Dublin, VA) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, September 7. Fleming will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record.
