Peters Township Indians (McMurray, PA) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Taylor Allderdice Dragons (Pittsburgh, PA), 5-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Indians confront the Baldwin Highlanders (Pittsburgh, PA) in a WPIAL AAAA 2 challenge, on Tuesday, September 6. Peters Township will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Highlanders enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 5-2 league loss to Upper St. Clair (Upper St. Clair, PA).

The Dragons now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mars for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 3. Taylor Allderdice will confront a Fightin' Planets team coming off a 6-1 league win over Armstrong (Kittanning, PA). The Fightin' Planets record now stands at 1-3.
