The Anderson County Mavericks volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Union County Patriots to 0 in the Mavericks league victory on Thursday.

The Mavericks now have a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gibbs for a AA District 3 game on Tuesday, September 6. Anderson County will meet a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league win over Fulton (Knoxville, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 10-4.
