Ohio High School Volleyball - Austintown-Fitch over Howland

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Austintown-Fitch Falcons (Youngstown, OH) and the visiting Howland Tigers (Warren, OH), saw Austintown-Fitch's volleyball squad beat Howland by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Austintown-Fitch upgrades its record to 5-1 on the year. The Falcons host Boardman (Youngstown, OH) to play the Spartans in a All-American bout on Thursday, September 8. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 2-3.

The Tigers now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Cardinal Mooney for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 8. Howland will play a Cardinals squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Ursuline (Youngstown, OH). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-2.
