The Bunn Wildcats volleyball team (Bunn, NC), was nudged 3-2 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Northern Nash Knights (Rocky Mount, NC)

The Knights (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Roanoke Rapids (Roanoke Rapids, NC). The Yellowjackets enter the The Big East 2A/3A challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Roanoke Rapids was nudged by Southern Nash (Bailey, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Franklinton Rams (Franklinton, NC) in a The Big East 2A/3A challenge, on Tuesday, September 6. Bunn will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Rams enter the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 3-2 league loss to Nash Central (Rocky Mount, NC).
