Cape Fear Colts (Fayetteville, NC) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Purnell Swett Rams (Pembroke, NC), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Colts clash with the Seventy-First Falcons (Fayetteville, NC) in a United Eight 3A/4A match, on Tuesday, September 6. Cape Fear will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Falcons come into the match with a 1-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC).

With the loss, Purnell Swett drops to 4-5 on the campaign. The Rams host Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC) to clash with the Buccaneers in a United Eight 3A/4A match on Tuesday, September 6. The Buccaneers come into the match with a record of 6-2. Jack Britt won 3-0 in their recent league match against Lumberton (Lumberton, NC)
