Georgia High School Volleyball - Cass edged by Murray County

The Murray County Indians held off the host Cass Colonels volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Indians now have a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fannin County for a 2A Area 7 test on Tuesday, September 6. Murray County will confront a Rebels team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Union County (Blairsville, GA). The Rebels record now stands at 10-7.

The Colonels (8-9) will now prepare for their test against Adairsville (Adairsville, GA). The Tigers enter the non-league test with a 5-8 record. In their last test, Adairsville was nudged by Christian Heritage (Dalton, GA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
