Nebraska High School Volleyball - Stanton can't hold off Clarkson/Leigh

In Thursday's league battle, the host Clarkson/Leigh Patriots volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Stanton Mustangs.

The Patriots (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Wisner-Pilger (Wisner, NE). The Gators come into the non-league battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Wisner-Pilger nudged West Point-Beemer (West Point, NE), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Mustangs clash with the Pierce Bluejays (Pierce, NE) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 3. Stanton will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Bluejays come into the battle with a 1-1 record after their 3-2 league loss to Norfolk Catholic (Norfolk, NE).
