The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Colbert County Indians (Leighton, AL) and the visiting Sheffield Bulldogs (Sheffield, AL), saw Colbert County's volleyball squad beat Sheffield by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Colbert County upgrades its record to 2-8 on the year. The Indians host Cherokee (Cherokee, AL) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Monday, September 12. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 1-3.

The Bulldogs now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Tharptown for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 8.
