The Coronado Leopards topped the visiting Penasco Panthers volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Leopards now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mesa Vista for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 6. Coronado will confront a Trojans team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Dulce (Dulce, NM). The Trojans record now stands at 1-2.
The Panthers (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Pecos (Pecos, NM). The Panthers enter the non-league test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Pecos dropped by Escalante (Tierra Amarilla, NM), 3-0, in a non-league test.
