North Carolina High School Volleyball - South View over Douglas Byrd

In Thursday's league contest, the South View Tigers (Hope Mills, NC) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Douglas Byrd Eagles (Fayetteville, NC), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Tigers battle the Lumberton Pirates (Lumberton, NC) in a United Eight 3A/4A contest, on Tuesday, September 6. South View will attempt to better on its 7-0 season record. The Pirates go into the contest with a 4-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC).

With the loss, Douglas Byrd moves to 1-3 on the year. The Eagles travel to Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC) to battle the Bears in a United Eight 3A/4A contest on Tuesday, September 6. The Bears go into the contest with a record of 8-0. Gray's Creek won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Seventy-First (Fayetteville, NC)
