In Thursday's league battle, the host Liberty County Panthers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Johnson Atomsmashers.

The Panthers (5-10) will now prepare for their test against Southeast Bulloch (Brooklet, GA). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Southeast Bulloch was knocked off by Islands (Savannah, GA), 2-0, in a league test.

The Atomsmashers (0-6) will now prepare for their test against New Hampstead (Savannah, GA). The Phoenix enter the non-league test with a 9-3 record. In their last test, New Hampstead was knocked off by Toombs County (Lyons, GA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
