Illinois High School Volleyball - Triopia/Virginia over North Greene

The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Triopia/Virginia Trojans (Concord, IL) and the host North Greene Spartans (White Hall, IL), saw Triopia/Virginia's volleyball squad beat North Greene by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Triopia/Virginia upgrades its record to 4-0 on the year. The Trojans travel to South County (Franklin, IL) to play the Vipers in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 3. The Vipers go into the bout with a record of 3-3. South County lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] (Winchester, IL)

The Spartans now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Griggsville-Perry for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 3. North Greene will play a Tornadoes squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Pleasant Hill (Pleasant Hill, IL). The Tornadoes record now stands at 0-4.
