Pierce County Bears (Blackshear, GA) backers left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Tattnall County Warriors (Reidsville, GA), 2-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Bears battle the Brantley County Herons (Nahunta, GA) in a 2A Area 3 match, on Tuesday, September 6. Pierce County will attempt to better on its 8-5 season record. The Herons come into the match with a 0-7 record after their 2-0 league loss to Windsor Forest (Savannah, GA).

With the loss, Tattnall County drops to 4-12 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Toombs County (Lyons, GA) to battle the Bulldogs in a 2A Area 3 match on Tuesday, September 6. The Bulldogs come into the match with a record of 11-2. Toombs County won 2-0 in their recent non-league match against New Hampstead (Savannah, GA)
