Southwestern Randolph Cougars (Asheboro, NC) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Trinity Bulldogs (Trinity, NC), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Randleman Tigers (Randleman, NC) in a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A match, on Tuesday, September 6. Southwestern Randolph will attempt to advance on its 9-1 season record. The Tigers come into the match with a 4-1 record after their 3-1 league win over Wheatmore (Trinity, NC).

With the loss, Trinity drops to 6-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Uwharrie Charter (Asheboro, NC) to clash with the Eagles in a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A match on Tuesday, September 6. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 3-2. Uwharrie Charter lost 3-2 in their recent league match against Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC)
