The Valley Vikings volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Western Warriors to 0 in the Vikings non-league victory on Thursday.
The Vikings now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cheyenne for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 6. Valley will confront a Desert Shields team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Southeast Career Tech (Las Vegas, NV). The Desert Shields record now stands at 1-10.
The Warriors (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Canyon Springs (North Las Vegas, NV). The Pioneers enter the non-league game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, Canyon Springs gained a win over Mojave (North Las Vegas, NV), 3-0, in a non-league game.
