The Alcester-Hudson Cubs walloped the visiting Burke Cougars football team by a count of 42-8 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Alcester-Hudson upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Cubs travel to Garretson (Garretson, SD) to encounter the Blue Dragons in a non-league outing on Friday, September 8. The Blue Dragons go into the outing with a record of 0-3. Garretson lost 53-0 in their recent non-league outing against Hamlin (Hayti, SD)

With the loss, Burke moves to 0-3 on the season. The Cougars travel to Colome (Colome, SD) to encounter the Cowboys in a Great Plains (9 Man) outing on Friday, September 8. The Cowboys go into the outing with a record of 0-2. Colome lost 42-22 in their recent league outing against Gayville-Volin (Gayville, SD)
