The Ballard Bruins (Louisville, KY) football defeated the visiting Pleasure Ridge Park Panthers (Louisville, KY), 49-22 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Bruins face the Bryan Station Defenders (Lexington, KY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 8. Ballard will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Defenders enter the bout with a 1-2 record after their 38-35 non-league win over Bowling Green (Bowling Green, KY).
The Panthers (2-3) will now prepare for their bout against Butler (Louisville, KY). The Bears enter the non-league bout with a 0-3 record. In their last bout, Butler lost by Central (Louisville, KY), 34-0, in a non-league bout.
