In Friday's league match, the visiting Tulelake Honkers football squad scored a good 34-12 victory over the Chester Volcanoes.
In their next game, the Honkers clash with the Butte Valley Bulldogs (Dorris, CA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 7. Tulelake will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 50-0 non-league loss to Hayfork (Hayfork, CA).
The Volcanoes (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Loyalton (Loyalton, CA). The Grizzlies enter the California - Division I (8 Man) match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Loyalton gained a win over Plumas Charter (Quincy, CA), 43-6, in a league contest.
