In Friday's non-league game, the Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy Royals (Cuyahoga Falls, OH) football team knocked off the visiting Woodridge Bulldogs (Peninsula, OH), by a final score of 29-14.
The Royals (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Tuslaw (Massillon, OH). The Mustangs come into the Principals game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Tuslaw toppled River View (Warsaw, OH), 40-6, in a non-league game.
The Bulldogs now hold a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Coventry for a Metro game on Friday, September 8. Woodridge will battle a Comets team coming off a 46-0 non-league loss to Cardinal (Middlefield, OH). The Comets record now stands at 0-3.
