The Muskegon Big Reds football team (Muskegon, MI), was beaten 40-28 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting De La Salle Collegiate Pilots (Warren, MI)
The Pilots (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Mary's Prep (Orchard Lake, MI). The Eaglets come into the Catholic - Central challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, St. Mary's Prep achieved victory over St. John's Jesuit (Toledo, OH), 28-7, in a non-league challenge.
The Big Reds now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Holland for a Ottawa-Kent - Green match on Friday, September 8. Muskegon will clash with a Dutch squad coming off a 40-26 non-league loss to Comstock Park (Comstock Park, MI). The Dutch record now stands at 0-2.
