The Kea'au Cougars football team (Kea'au, HI), was tipped 29-22 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Hilo Vikings (Hilo, HI)

The Vikings (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Kealakehe (Kailua-Kona, HI). The Waveriders come into the Big Island I challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Kealakehe nipped Waiakea (Hilo, HI), 34-14, in a league challenge.

The Cougars now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Konawaena for a Big Island I challenge on Saturday, September 9. Kea'au will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 28-19 non-league win over Leilehua (Wahiawa, HI). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-1.
