Tennessee High School Football - Upperman nips Macon County

September 1, 2023: Lafayette, TN 37083

In Friday's league match, the visiting Upperman Bees football squad scored a close 14-7 victory over the Macon County Tigers .

In their next game, the Bees clash with the Livingston Academy Wildcats (Livingston, TN) in a 4A Region 4 match, on Friday, September 8. Upperman will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 1-2 record after their 31-9 league loss to DeKalb County (Smithville, TN).

The Tigers (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Smith County (Carthage, TN). The Owls enter the non-league match with a 3-0 record. In their last match, Smith County held off Liberty Creek (Gallatin, TN), 47-28, in a non-league match.
