Tennessee High School Football - Sequatchie County gets by Watertown

The Sequatchie County Indians football squad scored 27 points and restricted the visiting Watertown Purple Tigers to 21 in the Indians league victory on Friday.

The Indians now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Pittsburg for a non-league battle on Friday, September 8. Sequatchie County will play a Pirates squad coming off a 64-3 league win over Copper Basin (Copperhill, TN). The Pirates record now stands at 3-0.

Coming up next, the Purple Tigers play the DeKalb County Tigers (Smithville, TN) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 8. Watertown will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 1-2 record after their 31-9 league win over Livingston Academy (Livingston, TN).
