With the triumph, Blackwell moves its record to 10-11 on the year. The Maroons host Alva (Alva, OK) to play the Goldbugs in a non-league contest on Saturday, September 2. The Goldbugs come into the contest with a record of 11-8. Alva won 13-0 in their recent non-league contest against Mulhall-Orlando (Orlando, OK)

In their next game, the Longhorns play the Perry Maroons (Perry, OK) in a 3A contest, on Tuesday, September 5. Chisholm will attempt to move on its 5-15 season record. The Maroons come into the contest with a 20-3 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Nixa (Nixa, MO).
